The Day

What it actually looks like.

Every trucking company in the country says "home every night". Here's the day that makes it true.

5:40 AM Pre-trip in the yard. Lights, air, tyres, straps. Coffee. You know which job you're on before you get there.

7:00 AM First load. Quarry, plant or site, usually inside twenty minutes of the yard.

Midday Running loads. Same site most days, so you learn the access, the foreman and where not to put a truck after rain.

3:30 PM Last load out. If the job wraps early you're released early — we don't invent work to fill a clock.

4:50 PM Back in the yard, truck parked, keys in. You're home for dinner.
